Time and Directions

For Montgomery

As usual, those flying out of MYF will meet between 8 & 8:15 at Gibbs Flying Service with departure at 9:00. 

We will at the outside-tables facing north.

For those flying out of other locations, you can contact Tony Tex (619-997-4858), Mike Gretton (619-990-1203), or Chris Claborne (619-417-6879) for any last minute changes if the weather is not VFR.  We will have our cell phones on BEFORE departure time, or try us on our air-to-air freq at 123.45.

From South-Bound I-163, 

1. Take the Balboa Exit
2. Go East
3. First street after the bridge over the freeway is Kearny Villa Rd. Go right or South
4. Go South to second stop light and turn LEFT (east) on Aero Dr.
5. Go LEFT on John J. Montgomery Dr (second or third traffic light)
6. Immediate RIGHT in first parking.  Building in-front of you is Gibbs.  

Going North-Bound on I-163

1. Take Balboa Exit
2. The stop light you come to is Kearny Villa Rd.  TAKE A RIGHT.
3. Go South to second stop light and turn LEFT (east) on Aero Dr.
4. Go LEFT on John J. Montgomery Dr (second or third traffic light)
5. Make immediate RIGHT in first parking.  Building in-front of you is Gibbs Flying Service.  

From I-15

1. Exit Aero Drive and go West
2. Go RIGHT on John J. Montgomery Dr (second or third traffic light)
3. Immediate RIGHT in first parking.  Building in-front of you is Gibbs.
