Importance: Normal

Hi Guys,.

Attachment AWO INFO.doc is updated with info from our meeting on Tue, July
1 meeting.

IMPORTANT Room Info. BEFORE 6 PM, Thu, July 3, you must call the Arlington
Motor Inn (see AWO INFO.doc attachment) to reserve a room.

In the AWO INFO.doc attachment, notice the room # that is reserved for
you. Tell them you want that room reserved under your name and give them
your credit card #. They're expecting calls and changes.  DON'T DELAY.
Presently the Motel is booked up with other attending the Fly-In pilots and
rooms are available only when cancellations come in.

AFTER 6 PM, Thu, July 3, with the exception of rooms # 109 and # 110, all
other rooms under my name will be cancelled.

Also, for those of you RON at Bend, OR, call to reserve a room at Holiday
Inn and maybe a car. Phone numbers in AWO INFO.doc attachment.

Attachment AWO ROUTE.doc has few changes. On July 8th, we're still
stopping for fuel at Westover/Amador (O70), and the RON in Bend, OR (S07).
And on the way back home on July 13, a fuel stop in Brookings (BOK) and RON
in Watsonville (WVI). Needless to say, regarding the route, it all depends
on the WEATHER, especially the return route along the coast.

Check http://nweaa.org/ to download a pamphlet on AWO's Airport Diagram,
Closure Times, Air show Operations, Frequencies, Special and Arrival
Procedures, Seattle Bravo Airspace and a nearby TFR.

On for pictures of the scenery you can expect to see en route, and at AW0,
check our website with pictures taken by our webmaster Chris of our last
trip up there. http://www.cyberthought.com/tonytex/

Chris and Margaret Martin, will you be able to come up to Arlington for a
day on Wed, July 9th? I'll try to make it to see you, but it's doubtful
because I'll be at the air show for only two full days.

Jeff Picardi, you still planning to fly out of Redding to meeting us in
Bend and then continue up to AWO with us? If so, I'll call you just before
we depart San Diego.

Jeff Cary, you still planning on driving your motor home from San Diego to
AWO. If so, will you carry spare engines for us?

Best of clear skies and tailwinds,

Tony Tex
